ABOUT

Good Pinot Noir starts in the vineyard. Our grapes are grown using organic principles and stable waste. The grapes are hand picked and then the wine is made down the road, with help from Darren Brown, at Puddleduck winery.

Antipodes 324 Is 32 acres on the east foothills of the Meahan ranges just east of Hobart in the lower Coal Valley on the road to Richmond. The property includes a house, a 2 hectare vineyard, stables, a dressage arena, hay paddock, five people, four horses, 24 sheep (Baby Doll crosses), 3 cats and a dog.

The property looks over the lower Coal valley, Barilla Bay and the University Radiotelescope.

The vineyard is worked by the family and the grapes are picked by a group of friends. We aim to produce good wine which expresses the character of the land with the lightest possible intervention so that the grapes speak. The wine is hand crafted and made without haste with an emphasis on quality which we hope you will enjoy as much as we enjoyed making the wine.

Mission

We are a small producer focused on quality and enjoyment of the journey. We hope you enjoy drinking the wine as much as we enjoyed growing the grapes and making the wine.
